Sometimes the best good deeds are the small ones: letting someone go first, helping with a stroller, sending a quick “Are you okay?” message, or simply being kind at the right moment. These little actions can completely change someone’s day 🩵
That’s why the Museum of Senses in Prague is hosting a special event: Week of Good Deeds, running from February 16 to 22.
It’s simple: enjoy the museum and if you feel like it, add one small good deed to the mix 🤗
Write a good deed & enter our prize draw
During your visit, you’ll find a dedicated corner with note cards and a box. Write down either: a good deed you did (big or small), or a good deed someone did for you (that you still remember). No need to write a long story - one sentence is enough. Often, the simplest moments are the ones that stay with us the most. At the end of the week, we’ll draw 3 notes and reward them with a nice prize as our small way of saying thanks for joining in and helping us bring a warmer, more human vibe into the museum.
Our good deed: helping build a new cat shelter
We’re also doing a good deed ourselves. During this week, we’re supporting the creation of a new cat shelter in Číčová, planned to be the only cat shelter in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou district. The shelter will become a safe space where cats without a home can receive care, calm, and a real chance to start over. Practical steps are already underway, from essential administrative work to setting up proper facilities, including quarantine spaces and a secure outdoor area. This project is built by people who choose to help, and every donation becomes a real piece of the shelter - supporting not just a building, but a place where abandoned cats can find safety, care, and hope for a new home.
To make it easy, we’ll have a clearly displayed QR code inside the museum. ✅ Just scan it and donate - your contribution goes directly to the shelter.
